Introducing Service cards: a better way to showcase your Services on MyPlaces.us
We’ve made it easier for businesses to showcase their services and for customers to discover exactly what they’re looking for.
MyPlaces.us is introducing Service Cards — dedicated listings that allow businesses to present each service individually, with detailed descriptions, photos, pricing information, and contact options.
This is an important step in making MyPlaces.us more useful for both business owners and potential customers.
What’s Changing?
Previously, business owners could list their services in a simple text field within their Business Card.
While this was a convenient way to describe what a company offers, it had limitations. Individual services didn’t have their own pages and couldn’t be presented with detailed information.
Now, each service can have its own dedicated Service Card, linked directly to your Business Card.
For example, a home improvement company can create separate Service Cards for:
- Kitchen Remodeling
- Bathroom Renovation
- Flooring Installation
- Interior Painting
- Roof Repair
Instead of presenting everything in one text description, businesses can now give each service the attention it deserves.
What Can You Add to a Service Card?
Each Service Card allows you to showcase a specific service with:
- A dedicated service page
- Detailed service descriptions
- Up to 6 photos on the Free plan
- Pricing information
- Service location and coverage area
- Contact information, including phone and WhatsApp
- A direct connection to your Business Card
Service Cards can also represent online services that aren’t limited to a specific geographic location.

Individual Service Cards give customers more opportunities to discover what your business offers through service categories and location-based searches.

Describe each service separately, showcase relevant photos, and explain what makes your offering valuable.

Important: The Old Services Field Will Be Removed After November 30, 2026
To make the transition easier, the existing Services text field will remain active on published Business Cards through November 30, 2026.
However, adding or editing services through this field is no longer available in the frontend Business Card form.
Starting December 1, 2026, the old Services text field will be removed from Business Card pages.
It will be replaced by a section that automatically displays the Service Cards associated with each business.
This means:
- Existing text-based service descriptions will remain visible during the transition period.
- Business owners should create separate Service Cards for their services before November 30, 2026.
- After the transition, Business Cards will showcase their linked Service Cards automatically.
- The new Service Cards will remain independently accessible through their dedicated pages.
Please note: Existing text descriptions will not be automatically converted into Service Cards. Business owners will need to create their Service Cards separately.
How to Get Started
Creating Service Cards is simple:
- Sign in to your MyPlaces.us account.
- Make sure you have a published Business Card.
- Open the Add Service Card form.
- Select the Business Card associated with your service.
- Add your service details, photos, and contact information.
- Publish your Service Card.
You can create multiple Service Cards depending on your MyPlaces.us plan.
