Step 1. Create Your Business Card

Before adding a Service Card, you need to have a Business Card on MyPlaces.us.

If your business is already listed, you can skip this step.

Otherwise:

1. Sign in to your MyPlaces.us account or create a free account.
2. Add your business using the Business Card submission form.
3. Enter your business name, category, address, and other relevant details.
4. Submit your Business Card for publication.

Once your Business Card is available, you can start adding services.

Step 2. Add a New Service Card

Open the Service Card submission form and follow these steps:

1. Select the Business Card associated with your service.
2. Enter a clear and specific service name.
3. Choose the most relevant service category (contact Us if You don’t find relevant category).
4. Write a description explaining what the service includes.
5. Add relevant information and images, where available.

Tip: Use a specific service name such as “Kitchen Faucet Installation” rather than a general title like “Home Services.”

This helps customers understand exactly what you offer.

Step 3. Set Your Service Location and Coverage Area

Your Service Card uses the address of its linked Business Card as its default location.

You can also specify the distance within which you provide the service.

For example, if your business is located in Los Angeles and you serve customers within a 25-mile radius, you can set the appropriate Service Distance.

This helps customers looking for local services discover businesses that serve their area.

What if you offer online services?

If your service can be delivered remotely, enable the Online Service option.

Online services are not limited by the local service distance in the same way as services that require a physical visit.

Examples include online consultations, web design, virtual tutoring, and remote marketing services.

Step 4. Review and Publish Your Service Card

Before submitting your Service Card, make sure that:

• The service name is clear and accurate.
• You’ve selected the correct category.
• Your description explains what customers can expect.
• Your service coverage information is correct.
• Your contact information is up to date.

Submit your Service Card using the submission form.

Once published, your service can be discovered through the Services section of MyPlaces.us.
